1 Chapter 01
The situation
Education businesses are searched hard before anyone buys, and this one's founder's name returned a wall of hostile material. Several YouTube channels had published call-out videos, then cut and re-uploaded them. A podcast had turned the same claims into episodes. A separate website ran more than ten pages about the founder, and low-quality "net worth" and gossip sites repeated it all.
Each piece fed the next. The videos supplied the claims, the podcast repeated them, and the gossip pages turned them into search results.
2 Chapter 02
What we did
We mapped the whole footprint first, then scoped each link individually and agreed which were worth pursuing. Video, audio and web content were worked in parallel, and every link was verified at source before it was counted.
The client saw every link's status in a live portal, including the ones that did not move.
3 Chapter 03
The outcome
35 links were removed at source or de-indexed from Google worldwide, most of them within about three weeks of the main filing round. They included the attack site, podcast episode pages, the Q&A thread, the gossip pages and the spam domain, as well as a large share of the videos.
A handful of videos later reappeared in some countries. They are back in progress and are not counted in the total. We would rather report a smaller number that holds.
✓ Chapter 04
What this shows founders and educators
An exposé video is rarely just one video. The clips, re-uploads, podcasts and pages built on it matter as much as the original. If a video about you is spreading, read our exposé video removal page or book the free Exposure Scan.
